Our elementary students received quite a greeting when getting off the bus, getting welcomed by the Grinch! Our guest even took a second to take a picture with Mrs. Carlton's class.
Turkey Valley was Mike Sorenson's 100th school to continue his endeavor, and it was fun to watch him sink a trick shot at tonight's basketball game.

Mrs. Carlton's preschool class has been teaching Mrs. Holmes' mythology class songs throughout 1st semester. On this particular day, they took their show "on tour" for the 1st time by visiting several classrooms throughout the building. A few students joined in the fun! In November our 3rd -6th grade students participated in an assembly with Bill and Anne from waterrocks.org. They learned about watersheds and water pollution. Bill and Anne explained that a watershed is an area of land that drains to common water body. They learned where our rain goes, how our land has changed throughout history from the tall grasses and wildflowers of prairies with trees along our rivers with clean drinkable water flowing in our rivers to the fields we have today. They also learned many ways to keep our water clean and not polluted. #TVPride
Basketball Schedule Updates:
Friday, December 20th JV Girls will only play 2 quarters still beginning at 4 p.m. JV Boys will follow JV girls with a full game and the Varsity games will follow those tipping off approximately 6:15 p.m.
The JV/Varsity Girls Basketball game scheduled for Saturday, December 14th against Jesup has been rescheduled for Monday, February 10th with JV tipping off at 6:15 p.m. and Varsity Girls to follow.
Junior High Boys Basketball game scheduled for Thursday, February 6th against Sumner-Fred has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 30th tipping off at 4:15 p.m.
