2020 Turkey Valley Education Foundation Gala online auction is live!
Due to Covid the Turkey Valley Education Foundation board made the hard decision to forego the event and auction the classroom projects via Sweeney Auction service.
Bidding will be for one week only. Share with all of your Turkey Valley Parents and community supporters. This will be your only chance to purchase the classroom projects of 2020.
There will be also opportunities to make cash donations in place your usual charitable giving that would have taken place back in March.
https://sweeneyauctionservice.hibid.com/catalog/244845/turkey-valley-education-foundation/
Winning bidders will be asked to pick up their items at 414 W. Pitts Street, Lawler Iowa on one of 3 dates:
November 11th, 9-11 AM
November 12th, 1-3 PM
November 13th, 5-7 PM
If you had purchased Gala tickets for the 2020 event and have not been contacted please reach out to one of our board members.
As always thank you for your support, our goal will be to host our regular event at the Waucoma Event Center on March 20th, 2021 or a modified version of the event if necessary in order to follow Covid guidelines at that time.

Red Ribbon Week 2020
“Be Happy. Be Brave. Be Drug Free.”
Turkey Valley will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week October 26 - 29. Dress-up days are listed below.
What is Red Ribbon Week?
Red Ribbon Week serves to honor the memory of DEA Agent Kiki Camarena. Agent Camarena was killed in 1985 as a result of a battle to fight drugs. He believed that one person could make a difference.
Turkey Valley’s YODA (Youth Opposed to Drugs and Alcohol) high school student group also believes that one person can make a difference and that if we work together, great things can happen. We want all of our students to be safe and make healthy decisions by choosing to not do drugs or drink alcohol. Please join us by celebrating Red Ribbon Week and by making good decisions.
Together, we can make a difference!
Monday, October 26: Put A Cap on Drugs….Wear your favorite hat.
Tuesday, October 27: Block out Drugs...Wear black.
Wednesday, October 28: Kick Drugs to the Curb…..Wear your favorite boots.
Thursday, October 29: Scare Away Drugs….Dress Up for Halloween
